About the job
Within Chubb Operations Hub for Continental Europe, based in Madrid, you will serve as an Operations Technician for our Iberian branches. Your role involves maintaining high standards of quality, service delivery, and accuracy by reviewing instructions from the Iberia Underwriting team or brokers, accurately entering premium bookings, and preparing policy documentation.
You will provide technical and administrative support to manage the Online SME portfolio across various lines of business, including Financial Lines, Casualty, Cyber, and Marine, with potential expansion to other areas.
You will support the standardized use of Ignite / ICT to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery to customers.
Supporting the Operations Manager as Process Owner for all processing activities, you will act as Subject Matter Expert for both retained and outsourced work, requiring a flexible approach to deliver high-quality services.
Key responsibilities :
1. Manage user system maintenance within SLAs, including setting up new access, amendments, and removals.
2. Oversee system setup for new products, including policy documentation and invoice generation, adhering to quality standards.
3. Maintain relevant systems managing products, including templates, product and code mappings, and interfaces with back-end systems.
4. Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, automate, and clarify procedures.
5. Manage Broker Network setup and maintenance, including Broker Novation processes and providing Broker Assistance.
6. Respond to general Broker correspondence within SLAs.
7. Handle manual processing of system fall-outs within SLA.
8. Review system data for inconsistencies to ensure quality, utilizing platforms like WorkView, Gennext, Genius.
9. Maintain current knowledge of all relevant products and lines of business to serve as SME.
10. Monitor outsourced work, analyze issues, and recommend improvements.
11. Produce SOX reports, including outsourced processed business, for team sign-off.
12. Conduct audits and Quality Control checks on both outsourced and retained work to ensure high standards.
13. Perform quality checks on booking requests before forwarding to third-party providers.
14. Investigate and resolve credit control queries within SLAs.

Qualifications
Language and Experience :
* Native or bilingual proficiency in French.
* Business-level English (advanced); high proficiency in Dutch preferred.
* Experience in processing roles, especially following written instructions, data entry, and report drafting, related to the policy cycle.
* Previous experience in Commercial Insurance is preferred.
