Responsibilities
* Build robust backend components with Java, Spring Boot, and OpenShift to ensure a solid foundation for online banking and customer experience.
* Participate in all phases from conception to go-live and further development, including designing, developing, and testing.
* Maintain high code quality through clean coding practices, code reviews, pair programming, and comprehensive testing.
* Collaborate with product owners and customer journey experts to conceptualize epics, features, and user stories, contributing technical expertise to clarify business requirements.
* Coordinate with other development teams and external service providers to ensure smooth interfaces, design, and implementation.
* Contribute to security and governance topics and document technical processes thoroughly.
Your Profile
* Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
* Practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and Git.
* Interest in JVM languages (Kotlin), container technologies (Docker, OpenShift), and CI / CD tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines).
* Enthusiasm for digital authentication processes (eID), messaging / event streaming (Kafka), databases (Oracle), and ELK stack.
* Strong communication skills, conceptual ability, and understanding of professional and technical processes, including customer perspectives.
* Agile mindset, curiosity, eagerness to learn, and team enjoyment.
* Creative thinking and ability to develop sustainable solutions.
* Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
