Regional BDR Team Manager at Canonical
Canonical is a leading provider of open‑source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our Ubuntu platform is widely used in breakthrough initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. With more than 1,200 colleagues in over 75 countries, Canonical operates a largely distributed workforce, meeting in person only twice‑to‑four times per year.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–10 SDRs/BDRs.
* Maintain a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline and meet outbound sales targets.
* Design and execute inbound and outbound lead‑generation strategies.
* Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build a high‑performance sales culture.
Qualifications & Experience
* Excellent academic results at school and university.
* Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM.
* Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology.
* Track record of delivering outstanding outbound sales development results.
* Commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious, flexible, scientific.
* Creative problem‑solving and cross‑team collaboration skills.
* Leadership experience of one form or another.
* Ability to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
