Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a key player in the dance, electronic, and DJ ecosystem. The site attracts over 6 million monthly users with news, editorial content, club listings, ticketing, RA-branded events worldwide, original films, and an 18-year-old weekly mix series.
Purpose of the role :
We are seeking a full-stack mid-level developer to join our web development team, which currently comprises around ten developers, including a dedicated apps team.
Our main technology stack includes a next.js frontend and a GraphQL backend, utilizing React, Node, and C#. We also incorporate Elasticsearch, Redis, and deploy on Kubernetes in the cloud, leveraging managed services and infrastructure-as-code.
You will work within a small agile team alongside talented full-stack developers and a dedicated product manager. Our flat management structure encourages meaningful contributions to feature implementation and technology decisions.
Required skills :
* C1 English or equivalent
* Experience developing production-grade backend systems
* Proficiency in building production-grade React applications
* Knowledge of TDD and testing from unit to integration levels
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with mobile-first web development
* API design and consumption skills
* Experience in a strongly-typed OOP language such as C# or Java
* Proficiency in Typescript, NestJS, GraphQL, Elasticsearch
* Experience with React hooks, React Native, Styled Components
* Testing React apps with testing-library and Jest
* Testing .NET applications with NUnit, XUnit, and Moq
* Docker and Kubernetes expertise
* Knowledge of AWS and Terraform
* Experience managing high-availability distributed systems
