This position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can work, worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances.
Each Church facility that is built and/or maintained should 1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship, and 2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community.
This position performs journey level custodial work.

Responsibilities
English
* Cleans floors, walls, furniture and other building furnishings; sanitizes rest rooms, operates vacuums, carpet cleaners, buffers, etc.
* Moves furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous equipment as needed.
* Routinely performs other duties such as dusting furniture, disposing of trash, cleaning of restaurants, cleaning grease traps, etc.
* Renovates and renews surfaces by using special equipment and products.
* Operates scrubbers, buffers, waxers, vacuums, and helps keep equipment in working condition.
* May clean, fixtures, and wood paneling from ladders or scaffolding.
* Hang curtains or drapes from ladders.
* Follows time schedule and prescribed methods.
* May assist in setting up meeting rooms for special meetings as requested.
* May perform minor repairs.
* Maintains good public relations.
* Reports problems to supervisor.
* Sees that assigned area is properly maintained to the established standard.
* Performs other duties and attends meetings as assigned.

* Limpiar suelos, paredes, muebles y otros enseres del edificio; desinfecta los baños y opera aspiradoras, limpiadoras de alfombras, pulidoras, etc.
* Mover muebles, suministros y equipos diversos según sea necesario.
* Realizar rutinariamente otras tareas como desempolvar muebles, sacar la basura, etc.
* Renovar y restaurar superficies utilizando equipos y productos especiales.
* Operar pulidoras, enceradoras, aspiradoras y ayudar a mantener el equipo en buen estado.
* Puede limpiar accesorios y paneles de madera desde escaleras o andamios.
* Colgar cortinas o visillos subido a escaleras.
* Seguir el horario establecido y los métodos prescritos.
* Puede ayudar a preparar salas de reuniones para eventos especiales según se solicite.
* Puede realizar pequeñas reparaciones.
* Mantener buenas relaciones públicas.

Qualifications
English
* Requires two year of custodial experience.
* Sound understanding of custodial procedures, supplies, and equipment.
* Sound understanding of the operation of equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, vacuums, etc.
* Basic understanding of hand tools used in making small repairs.
* Able to lift up to 25 Kg., push carts of loaded material, bend, crawl, and/or reach.
* Spanish language is requested for this position. General English knowledge would be an advantage.
* This position requires working an 8-hour shift every Monday, including public holidays. The work schedule is from 6:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

* Se requieren dos años de experiencia en labores de limpieza.
* Sólido conocimiento de los procedimientos, suministros y equipos de limpieza.
* Buen conocimiento del funcionamiento de equipos como pulidoras, limpiadoras de alfombras, aspiradoras, etc.
* Conocimientos básicos sobre el uso de herramientas manuales para realizar pequeñas reparaciones.
* Capacidad para levantar hasta 25 kg, empujar carros con materiales, agacharse, arrastrarse y/o estirarse.
* Se requiere conocimiento del idioma español para este puesto. Tener conocimientos generales de inglés será una ventaja.
* Este puesto requiere trabajar un turno de 8 horas todos los lunes, incluidos los días festivos. El horario de trabajo es de 6:45 a.m. a 3:00 p.m.
