CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
(Remote – CET ± 4 h)
This hybrid role combines deep hands-on expertise in Mautic with multichannel campaign management and customer success coordination across clients, internal development teams, and the CEO. You will act as both the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the face of daily value delivery for our managed deliverability and profitability-focused ESP offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Operations & Analytics
o Manage the Mautic stack: installations, upgrades, plugins, security. Access servers via SSH to audit and optimize cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups).
o Identify and fix misconfigurations such as duplicate triggers or missing workers.
o Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on engagement tables to validate KPIs and generate insights.
o Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, MXToolBox; maintain inbox placement > 95%.
o Integrate Mautic with websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
* Customer Success & Coordination
o Serve as primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
o Coordinate hand-offs between development, CEO/PM, and clients; ensure clarity on expectations and timelines.
o Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
o Collect feedback and convert into backlog or optimization ideas.
* Project Prioritization & Growth
o Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritize tasks to maximize ROI.
o Run mini-experiments (e.g., subject-line tests, new segments) and measure impact.
o Prospect and scope new customers fitting the profile of 10+ million emails/month.
Skills & Traits We Value
* 2–4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with 1+ years as primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL, especially Amazon Athena (window functions, partitions, cost control).
* Linux CLI skills: cron, grep, bash scripting (LLM-assisted acceptable but responsible use).
* Ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and executives.
* Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a 'definition of done' mindset.
* Fast iteration and lean resourcefulness, mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot).
* Bonus: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable; fluency in French.

Success Milestones (30/60/90 Days)
* 30 Days: Set up a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up plan, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and document checklists.
* 60 Days: Own customer success for one account, achieving consistent growth in active users, clicks, volume, and revenue through proactive management and weekly syncs.
* 90 Days: Autonomously manage 3 clients end-to-end, with minimal CEO intervention, and source a new customer.
