Técnicas Reunidas has defined its strategy for a low carbon economy under track. track develops its activities under four verticals: the hydrogen value chain, biofuels, carbon capture and methane.
track has three pillars:
Project delivery: from project co-development to the delivery of engineering services in early stages of project definition.
Asset decarbonization, with new services targeted to carbon and methane management.
New industries, managing the positioning of Técnicas Reunidas in carbon intensive industries.
This strategy is managed under a dedicated business unit within Técnicas Reunidas.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager, to join Commercial Team to develop the following targets:
Analyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote engineering and construction services for any kind of customer focusing in early project lifecycle stages (consultancy, feasibility, pre-FEED and FEED...) for Low Carbon projects, related to TR ́s Low Carbon initiative, including Hydrogen and derivatives (Ammonia, Methanol...), Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals and Carbon Capture.
Participate in Adapting TR's value proposition in the sector
Engage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with key clients
Participate in the corporate relationship with key licensors/OEMs
Seek out potential partners that complement TR's capabilities and assist in market positioning
Establish TR's positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value (regional knowledge, service knowledge) and with the Proposals' Directors
Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through Salesforce
Requirements for the position:
+5 years of relevant experience
Track record as a commercial manager working in the energy transition sector.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with utilities, infra-funds, developers, Oil&Gas clients with understanding of market drivers, trends and players
Strong commercial acumen with communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong and durable client relationships
Strategic and analytical thinking
Passion and understanding of the importance that specific technologies (e.g., H2 and CCS) have in accelerating the energy transition
Availability for frequent traveling, mostly within Spain and Southern Europe
Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in business and/or industrial/mechanical engineering or chemistry. Relevant experience would be accepted in-lieu of required education. xohynlm
