Accounting Specialist
- Oversee GL, AP, and technical accounting operations
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax & finance teams
- Manage relationships with external auditors, and other financial professionals, culminating in a timely and accurate audit process.
- Experience with reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
Candidate's Profile:
- ✅ 7+ years of post-qualification experience
- ✅ Deep knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks, IFRS a plus
- ✅ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- ✅ Excellent communication skills in English, French is a plus.
- ✅ Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (MS Dynamics is a plus)
- ✅ Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- ✅ High attention to detail with a strong grasp of the big picture
- ✅ Experience preparing statutory financials
