This role requires a strategic and operational leader capable of driving service innovation, ensuring delivery excellence, managing technical teams, and supporting complex client engagements.
The position involves overseeing supplier risk assessments across technical, operational, ESG, supply chain, and financial dimensions, while developing methodologies, improving operational performance, and contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Market Contribution: Define and execute the service line strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs.Portfolio & Service Development: Lead the development and enhancement of audit, ESG, traceability, and supplier due diligence services.Operations & Delivery Excellence: Ensure high-quality project delivery, operational performance, and continuous process improvement.Supplier Risk & Due Diligence: Develop supplier assessment methodologies covering technical, operational, ESG, supply chain, and financial risks.Client Engagement & Business Development: Support proposals, technical advisory activities, and key client engagements.Team Management & Capability Development: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of auditors and technical specialists.Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable standards while managing operational and commercial risks.Reporting & Cross-Functional Alignment: Monitor service line performance, report results to leadership, and ensure alignment with business unit prioritiesQualifications and ExperienceMaster’s degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in renewables and/or technical advisory services.Strong background in supplier audits, manufacturing assessments, and due diligence.Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, supply chain traceability, and supplier risk assessment.Familiarity with financial analysis and supplier financial risk evaluation.Experience leading technical teams and managing service delivery.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational leadership skills.Service development, innovation mindset, and commercial awareness.Excellent client-facing communication and advisory capabilities.Advanced English proficiency (C1); additional European languages are a plusTerms and ConditionsLocation: Madrid, SpainContract type: Full timePosition Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.Why Join Us?Opportunity to lead and grow within a fast-growing industry.Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.Collaborative and innovative work environment.STS – At the Forefront of the Global Renewable Energy IndustryAt STS, we serve as technical advisors, auditors, and inspectors, empowering our clients
