When it becomes operational in ****, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a integral network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants.

Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of ****.ResponsibilitiesSupervise employees and activities across areas of manufacturing for smooth and continuous operations.Supervise employees and manufacturing activities pertaining to the production of products and/or manufacturing processes in - and with manufacturing/technical knowledge of - 1 or more production areas, depending on the complexity of the areas to ensure the specifications and procedures of the company, in addition to conducting performance reviews, including resolving performance issuesOversee the scheduling of work orders and team performance metricsAccountable to ensure staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned workAccountable for productivity and quality metrics of staff, and provide regular progress reports and manufacturing metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholdersPartner with engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigations for review with engineering, assures documentation content is valid, may participate in improvement projects including designing, implementing and optimizing procedures and working methodsPerform daily audit to ensure employees are in adherence to manufacturing proceduresOther incidental duties (e.g. occasional photo copying or deliveries)Required qualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field (e.g., industrial, chemical, electrical, mechanical) or substantial technical knowledgeExperience in related manufacturing, quality and/or product development engineeringAbility to read, comprehend, write, and speak English and SpanishPreferred qualificationsExperience working in a medical device industryProven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDEExcellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders in order to achieve objectivesFast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environmentAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
