We are seeking a dynamic Primary Years Head to lead our 6- to 11-year-olds Eco Hub in the Barcelona region (Castelldefels).You will lead the Eco Hub and serve as the internal and external go-to person for the Eco Hub team, parents & learners. This role combines all aspects connected to the vision, daily operation and systems, direction, team wellbeing, learner support, learning programs and parent communications with the goal of developing a vibrant and sustainable learning community on site. You will play a key role in shaping a positive learning culture in this consolidated and beautiful primary years facility right on the beach.Start date: full time from 18th August 2026Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday in person in Pg. Marítim, 139, 08860 Castelldefels, BarcelonaYour responsibilities Collaborate regularly with Hub's CEO and other Learnlife Hub Leads to ensure alignment across Hubs.Coach Learning Team in areas such as: Goal settingLearning experience designInstructional practice
Organizing, leading and facilitating weekly team meetings, as well as professional development during planning days throughout the year.Design and deliver learning experiences / building blocks.Oversee all Hub communication such as newsletters, program updates, and email correspondence with parents, Learnlife leadership and Castelldefels community partners.Be a public facing representative for the Eco Hub: Externally: Open Houses & Virtual Information Sessions, Hub Tours, community relationsInternally: Learning Services Team (including space usage)
Track and communicate resourcing needs of the following to the Hubs CEO: Daily operationsSpace needsFinancial needsLearning needs
Work in conjunction with the Learnlife CEO and Learnlife in Schools team to 'codify' all Eco Hub building blocks. Internally for team member use over timeExternally for use by the Learning Services Team
Collaborate with Learnlife CEO, Director of Marketing and Director of Enrollment to facilitate annual re-enrollment and new enrollment process.Actively engage with Eco Hub's Parent Hub and professionalized parent volunteers to ensure collaborative communication, event organization and fundraising.Oversee learner discipline, behavior, engagement and safe-guarding. Work in collaboration with Learner Support Lead.Assist with all accreditation and school site license applications, visits and requirements.Operations: Schedule managementYearly calendar managementOversee day-to-day decisions about space - space usage, coordinating visitors, space updatesPurchasing overview and budget control
