Description of the job :A position as a Air to Air Refueling Systems and BOOM System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join the TADYR2 department.
\n
The mission of Air to Air Refueling Systems organization is to conceive, develop, certify and support in service along the complete product lifecycle, the solutions (systems, installations, equipment, integral support services) for air to air refueling capabilities in Airbus DS platforms. The position requires a mechatronics system engineer with knowledge and interest in several disciplines, including mechanical engineering (design, mechanics/dynamics, structural, fatigue), actuation systems (electromechanical, hydraulic) and control systems (avionics, critical SW/FW specification, modeling and simulation, integration and testing). The application of this disciplines is framed in the required safety, quality and performance processes according to Airbus systems engineering standards and the needs of our customers.
\n
Ability to manage the development of Air to Air Refueling systems and modifications, from concept to aircraft validation and certification.
\n
Mechanical and actuation systems development. Interface and collaboration with other internal organizations (Physical Design and Structure, Procurement, Testing). Specification, modeling, prototyping, testing specification, V&V; planning / execution, certification process, industrialization and service key support.
\n
Control, Monitoring & Recording Sub-system / equipment / component / module for Airbus, including Systems Architecture.
\n
Specify considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements, Design to Service.
\n
INPUTS: Top Level requirements and operational needs. Sub-system interfaces from Airbus and Systems Suppliers.
\n
OUTPUTS: Deliver safe systems which minimise operational costs and maximise performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.Support and participation in customer program lifecycle from AAR organization.
\n
Collaboration with manufacturing organizations to optimize AAR systems industrialization and testing. Collaboration with Services organization to follow up, support in service and optimize the AAR systems capabilities, with a strong end customer orientation.
\n
