Mission
As a Medical Affairs Manager the main purpose of your role will be to build partnerships with external healthcare professionals and with internal stakeholders, to communicate evidence‑based critical scientific, technical and development issues in the Hematology area.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute medical affairs plans in alignment with the business objectives, guided by senior colleague.
Medical lead building and maintaining relationships with scientific thought leaders globally.
Manage international scientific events like advisory boards, symposia or standalone meetings.
Manage initiatives and requests related to Grifols research programs such as ISRs, awards, grants and Ph IV studies.
Collect and analyze competitor medical/scientific information from different sources/departments and communicate it to the appropriate internal functions and departments.
Attend national and international medical conferences on the respective disease areas and provide reports from these meetings to internal stakeholders.
Provide medical content for medical education programs for clinicians externally and for internal customers through the training department.
Contribute to scientific publications generated from Grifols projects or studies (including abstract writing or revision of manuscripts).
Provide scientific responses to enquiries by internal and external customers and support the Medical Information department in elaborating standard response letters (SRL).
Ensure the accuracy of the medical content of marketing materials and participate in the sign‑off process of promotional materials.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within the Scientific Innovation Office (SIO) and commercial and other departments, participating in different working groups as needed.
Provide medical input in the development of value dossiers or other materials requested for reimbursement/market access support.
Attend periodic team meetings on therapeutic area updates and strategy alignment.
Manage budget and ensure compliance with Grifols processes and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Medicine. PhD, MD or PharmD with advanced knowledge in the respective scientific field is preferred.
Valuable experience in the therapeutic area (Hematology, intensive care and bleeding management).
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the pharma industry.
Solid knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical basics with highest ethical standards.
Scientific understanding (literature, clinical and basic research etc.).
Advanced communication and relationship‑building skills.
Presentation skills.
Good English language skills (spoken and written).
Computer skills.
Willingness to travel.

Flexible schedule: Monday‑Thursday 7‑10 to 16‑19h and Friday 8‑15h.
Contract of employment: Permanent position.
Flexibility for U Program: 2 days remote working.
