This is a temporary opportunity with an estimated duration of 18 months.

As Privacy & Data Ethics Manager you\'ll support the Head of Privacy & Data Ethics Governance in defining the global framework, policies and standards, leading implementation, contributing to monitoring and audits, performing additional checks as needed, and preparing regulatory, risk, and program reporting. Specifically, this role will provide dedicated support for the implementation of the NIS2 (Cybersecurity), the CER (Critical Entities Resilience) Directives and any other cybersecurity or resilience related regulation across Sandoz, acting as a project manager to ensure timely compliance with obligations, national law transpositions, and registration with cybersecurity and other relevant regulators. This role ensures structured implementation of cybersecurity and critical resilience requirements, acting as the central point for planning, monitoring, and managing some administrative work and tasks, while collaborating with ISRC (Cybersecurity function), BC/CM (Business Continuity function), the local markets under scope and other relevant stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

* PDE Framework: Support the maintenance of Privacy & Data Ethics framework.
* Governance and controls: Build the controls and risk assurance framework and embed in the businesses. Operate and execute the risk framework and monitoring program.
* Reporting: Perform reporting activities on Privacy & Data Ethics risks and monitoring outcomes
* Project Management: Lead compliance projects for NIS2 and CER and any other relevant regulation within our scope, ensuring timely execution of obligations and deliverables.
* Regulatory Calendar: Maintain and monitor a dynamic calendar of key compliance milestones and deadlines for NIS2, CER and other relevant cybersecurity law.
* Legal Monitoring: Track legal and regulatory updates on privacy and data ethics, including national transposition of NIS2 and CER directives and analyze the main requirements.
* Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate and manage registrations and maintain relationships with data privacy, cybersecurity and critical resilience regulators.
* Documentation & Reporting: Prepare compliance reports, maintain audit trails, and support incident reporting processes when needed.
* Training & Awareness: Develop Privacy & Data Ethics training and awareness actions and communication strategies, specifically related to NIS2, CER and other cybersecurity laws.

What you need to bring to the role:

* University Degree in Law or equivalent.
* Legal background preferably. Other relevant fields such as Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Critical Infrastructure Management are also acceptable.
* Fluent English is mandatory, other languages is an advantage
* 3 years\' experience in regulatory compliance or project coordination, preferably in data privacy, AI compliance and cybersecurity in a consultancy or international company
* Experience with EU directives implementation and regulator liaison.
* Operates risk assessment processes & controls.
* Strong knowledge of the data protection laws and risk management methodology.
* Project management expertise (Gantt charts, issue tracking, milestone planning).
* Legal research and drafting skills for regulatory analysis and documentation.
* Familiar with interactions with administrative bodies or regulators.
* Familiarity with risk management and incident reporting frameworks.

Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range.
