Overview
The QA Specialist role at eDreams ODIGEO offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in Barcelona and contribute to the development of our travel subscription platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the QA team to achieve common objectives.
* Understand testing problems of development teams.
* Assess gaps between teams' current state and testing strategy.
* Propose actions to close the testing gap, aligned with our vision and the priorities of teams.
* Research and propose testing tools to complement the company stack.
* Evangelize and train teams on our testing vision, strategy, and practices to improve adoption.
* Collect and provide up-to-date data on the testing status and gaps to enable informed decisions regarding prioritization of proposed actions.
* Strategically help teams with testing activities such as testing plans, test cases automations, etc.

Requirements
* Good understanding of testing best practices, including manual and automation testing.
* Solid knowledge of functional testing techniques (exploratory, boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning).
* Proven expertise in developing and implementing automated testing solutions using Java or Javascript within microservices architectures.
* Knowledge of how AI can be applied to enhance testing activities.
* Ability to influence others and promote quality as a shared team responsibility.
* Capacity to understand the broader impact of product changes.
