**JOIN THE TEAM**:
In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L. markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group: chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- First contact to technical functions at our customers to defend and grow sales with our existing Portfolio.
- Link from customers and their needs to laboratory and central function at LU.
- Problem solving related to our portfolio (e.g. search for alternatives in case of labeling changes, shortages, etc.).
- Consultation, answering of customer questions to use / introduce our products.
- Proactive push, search for further sales potentials at our customers.
- Introduction of new technologies, product launches at the customer.
- Organization and execution of technical workshops with the customer to strengthen BASF position.
- Account planning with sales and marketing.
- Documentation of opportunities and achievements related to technical activities.
- Formulation know-how and input to SRM or home care segment.
- Conceptual creation and planning of broad market solutions.
- Link to test institutes, understanding of their methods and contributions of our portfolio benefits.
- Introduction of BASF methods at test institutes.
- Know how for market formulations with BASF portfolio, suitable for EU ecolabel.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Have successfully completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (Master or PhD highly valued).
- Have already work experience in a similar role of minimum 5 years.
- It will be valuable to have knowledge in Labor Risk Prevention.
- Excellent knowledge of English is required, an additional proficiency in French or Italian is an asset.
- Deep user knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
