About the role
Monks is looking for a creative designer to create and adapt designs for Social Media. You will cooperate with a design‐savvy and creative team to devise an overall concept, analyse regional and local market requirements, and uphold quality, brand guidelines and visual executions across different channels.
Responsibilities
Generate clear ideas in tandem with the content team to support local markets with the conceptual and visual execution of campaigns for an iconic automotive brand.
Understand social media initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
Manage the visual side of the Social Media Calendar.
Conduct image research: sourcing the best visuals to achieve the strongest composition for each campaign and deliverable.
Present complete ideas and the art designs to social media clients and team members.
Own smaller projects or a small part of bigger projects, ensuring that all design tasks are completed with an excellent outcome.
About you
The essentials
3+ years of proven work experience in all stages of the creative process in advertising or communications agencies and experience as an Art Designer.
Significant Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc).
Bonus: experience with additional programs such as Figma, Sketch, AfterEffects, editing/colour‐editing.
Fluent in English.
Clear understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow and storytelling, and ability to improve work on both an aesthetic and functional level.
Not afraid of doing repetitive work when necessary.
Experience with PowerPoint or Google Slides and putting together client decks.
Curiosity, creativity, above‐average commitment, keen eye for detail and a high visual quality standard.
Great team player and willing to walk the extra mile, always supporting the whole team with your craft and ideas.
Humble and open to feedback and proactive in seeking ways to develop when time allows.
