Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Catering Sales Manager to join our Sales team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and event planning, particularly in the luxury segment. You will be responsible for managing catering-only group requests and social events-including weddings-by overseeing the full sales and coordination cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and respond to inbound catering-only and social event inquiries, such as corporate luncheons and private celebrations.
* Act as the primary contact for wedding clients, managing both sales and full event planning.
* Qualify leads, create customized proposals, and align offerings with hotel availability, revenue targets, and client expectations.
* Draft contracts, track approvals, and coordinate deposits according to internal protocols.
* Lead site inspections and planning meetings, showcasing hotel services and facilities.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Culinary, Banqueting, Events, Rooms Division) to ensure seamless execution.
* Maintain accurate client records and event details using systems like Envision.
* Provide a luxury, service-oriented experience at every touchpoint.
