Position: Electronics Technician 3
Part of the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit, you will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
* Perform technical tasks in field operations: installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
* Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support.
* Adhere to safety plans and policies, participate in quality reviews, track project metrics, and ensure proper documentation.
* Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, and panels following industry standards.
* Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network equipment.
* Lead commissioning efforts, communicate with project teams and clients, and mentor team members.
* Ensure compliance with quality control plans and safety requirements.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Active TS/SCI security clearance required; U.S. Citizenship necessary.
Education: HS diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, plus 3 years of related experience.
Experience: 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, with strong communication, team, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with Windows operating systems.
* 3+ years focused in electronic security systems.
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.
