JOB DESCRIPTION
The Logistics Transformation Program Manager is accountable for leading Mosaic portfolio, Ecolab’s European logistics transformation program. This role owns the program roadmap, governance, and execution, leads a team of Project Managers and SAP Subject Matter Experts, and provides functional leadership to project managers outside the direct reporting line delivering Mosaic initiatives.
In addition, this role is accountable for leading the Logistics SME teams for EBS and NSAP, ensuring stable operations, governance, and continuous evolution of Ecolab’s logistics platforms across Europe.
This position is a critical connector between Logistics Operations, IT, Divisions, and Country Organizations, ensuring that logistics transformation, system integrity, and operational excellence move hand‑in‑hand.
Key Accountabilities
Program Leadership
1. Own the end‑to‑end Mosaic logistics transformation program (network, warehousing, transportation, systems, processes and operating model).
2. Define program vision, roadmap, success metrics, dependencies, benefits realization, and risk management.
3. Lead regional governance forums, steering committees, and senior leadership updates.
Team Leadership – Project Managers & SMEs
4. Lead, develop and performance‑manage a team of 5 Logistics Project Managers.
5. Lead the Logistics SAP SME teams (EBS & NSAP) supporting the entire EU logistics community.
6. Build a strong logistics PM & SME talent pipeline through coaching, capability building and succession planning.
SAP Platform Ownership & Governance (EBS / NSAP)
7. Accountable for functional ownership and governance of logistics processes within EBS and NSAP.
8. Ensure platform stability, integrity, and compliance across Europe.
9. Govern and prioritize:
10. New enhancements and change requests
11. Configuration and design decisions
12. Regression testing and release readiness
13. Issue management, escalation, and resolution
14. Ensure alignment between business requirements, IT delivery, and logistics operations.
15. Drive standardization, documentation, and best practices across countries.
Cross‑Program & Matrix Governance
16. Provide functional leadership to project managers outside the reporting line executing Mosaic projects.
17. Ensure consistent application of PM methodology, change management, risk control and documentation standards.
18. Orchestrate dependencies across countries, functions, IT, and external partners.
Change & Stakeholder Leadership
19. Act as primary change leader for European Logistics transformation.
20. Influence senior leaders, country management, functional heads, and IT partners.
21. Build commitment, align priorities, and manage resistance to ensure sustainable adoption.
Operational & Technical Expertise
22. Act as senior logistics SME across warehousing, transportation, network design, 3PL management and compliance.
23. Ensure adherence to Ecolab standards, safety requirements, and regulatory frameworks ( Seveso, Dangerous Goods).
24. Track program KPIs, system performance, team effectiveness and benefit realization.
25. Experience with WMS, TMS, EDI, network optimization and 3PL sourcing.
26. International supply chain knowledge, especially around warehousing, inventory and warehouse management
27. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods storage, handling and transportation
28. Experience in sourcing and management of supply chain Providers (3PLs).
29. Experience with conducting RFI and RFP’s with service providers, plus able to do cost analysis for selection of optimum service level.
Qualifications & Experience
30. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (Master’s preferred).
31. 10+ years’ experience in logistics operations, project management, supply chain transformation, or consultancy.
32. Proven experience leading large, multi‑year transformation programs.
33. Strong SAP logistics expertise (EBS and/or NSAP) including governance of enhancements and system operations.
34. Experience leading teams of PMs and SME communities.
35. Proven ability to influence in a complex, matrix environment.
