**We are seeking a skilled **Network Engineer **to join our team for an exciting consulting project focused on backup strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure to support backup and recovery solutions for our clients. Your expertise in networking technologies and backup systems will be critical in developing robust and efficient backup strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
**What will you do in the project?
- **Network Infrastructure Design: Design and configure network infrastructure to support backup and recovery operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.**:
- **Backup System Implementation: Implement and configure backup systems, such as data backup software, storage devices, and network components, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.**:
- **Backup Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to assess their backup requirements and develop comprehensive backup strategies aligned with their business objectives and regulatory requirements.**:
- **Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance to maximize backup efficiency and minimize downtime, employing techniques such as bandwidth management and traffic shaping.**:
- **Security Compliance: Ensure backup solutions comply with industry standards and regulations for data security and privacy, implementing encryption and access controls as necessary.**:
- **Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, backup procedures, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to clients and project stakeholders.
**To feel comfortable in the position, you need to be able to get along well with:
- **Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing backup solutions.**:
- **In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.**:
- **Proficiency in backup and recovery software, such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas Backup Exec.**:
- **Familiarity with storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.**:
- **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance.**:
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.**:
- **Fluent level of English.**:
- **NATO nationality restrictions**:
- **Additional Requirements**:
- **Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, is a plus.**:
- **Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.**:
- **Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation is advantageous.
