The primary objective of this role is to influence customers and encourage them to develop the contact lens category by generating new users. This involves changing the mindset of eye care professionals (ECPs) and owners from passive to proactive, enabling them to offer contact lenses effectively.
To achieve this, the ideal candidate must have the ability to analyze businesses, identify opportunities, and understand the needs and particularities of various channels, including independent stores, buying groups, and chains.
The successful candidate will also possess basic tools knowledge, such as customer journey mapping, point-of-sale analysis, database management, and organizing training sessions for customers.
This role requires executing the joint business plan (JBP) defined for each key account area, building the Misight category, teaching ECPs how to improve children's lives, and ensuring coverage plans are implemented according to customer segmentation.
In addition, the ideal candidate will:
* Follow a predetermined sales process
* Develop strong relationships with customers, including understanding their roles within a business
* Negotiate price increases when necessary
* Provide value to the team and demonstrate teamwork skills
* Understand CooperVision programs and utilize them effectively
* Complete all reporting and administrative duties
* Maintain minimum product knowledge, including CooperVision and competitor products
* Attend congresses as requested and participate in training and improvement activities
