Job Purpose and Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities including Key Account management responsibilities. Participate in cluster budgeting and apply the sales policy in place.
Fundamentals of the Position
1. Focus 80% on the commercial development of customers.
2. Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your sector with your N+1.
3. Develop effective business plans for key customers.
4. Achieve sales and margin targets as per budget.
5. Identify, qualify, and develop new profitable business opportunities.
6. Understand and communicate Dawn’s capabilities to customers.
7. Manage assigned accounts efficiently and profitably.
8. Continuously improve industry knowledge.
9. Develop relationships with internal departments such as Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
10. Provide timely feedback to team members for personal development.
11. Conduct sales analysis and complete reports as required.
12. Complete weekly and monthly reports promptly.
13. Communicate effectively across departments.
14. Provide management with relevant information and reports.
15. Promote company products at trade shows and exhibitions.
16. Collaborate with NPD and marketing on new product development.
17. Manage overhead expenses like promotional funding and samples.
18. Operate cost-effectively.
19. Gather market, customer, and competitor insights.
20. Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Required Qualifications and Education
* Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
* Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level) and Salesforce.
* Ability to travel as required.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the Bakery Industry.
