**SAM (Santander Asset Management) is looking for an INTERNAL AUDIT SPECIALIST based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As an **Internal Audit Specialist **, you will responsible for executing internal audits, under the supervision of a senior auditor, to evaluate the control environment existing in Santander asset management companies, related with the following risks: financial information risk, market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk, financial crime risk, conduct risk and compliance risk.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Execution of audit tests and/or audit analysis with the support of a senior auditor
- Recommendations and other issues follow up.
- Continius monitoring of one specific audit, in order to be informed about the main
- Colaborate to prepare audit management information to senior management
- Internal audit system manteinance (data quality)
EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in internal audit, at a ‘Big-4’ or in the banking sector desirable.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
- Master´s degree is a plus.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of asset management or at least financial business.
- Deliver high quality results according to international auditing standards.
- Capability to work within strict deadlines and on several assignments concurrently.
- Ability to audit both in small and bigger teams under the direction of an experienced or senior auditor.
- Work effectively with other team members as required, willingly accepting feedback and guidance.
- High level of English
OTHER INFORMATION
- Willing to travel up to 30% (considering a post-covid scenario) in a typical year to undertake audits on SAM units.
