Since 2004 in Fragrance Science we create, produce and export all over the world our fragrances for their application in detergents, home care products, cosmetics and fine perfumery. We are currently looking for a highly-motivated Purchase Specialist.

The role description
* Follow up on documentation for national and international orders.
* Read, update, and analyze current applicable legislation.
* Verify regulatory compliance for fragrances.
* Update documentation and specifications for raw materials.
* Verify regulatory compliance for finished products.
* Review and adjust formulas to meet customer needs regarding legislative requirements.
* Manage and ensure compliance with regulations such as REGULATION (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products, REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), and REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH).
* Maintain, develop, and issue laboratory regulatory certificates and documentation, including raw material and final product specifications, as well as safety and IFRA specifications.
* Prepare information on raw materials, packaging components, and final products, providing safety assessments and quality assurance according to the legislative requirements of different countries.
* Collaborate with various company departments (Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, Quality Control, Production) by providing all necessary documentation and information regarding product descriptions.
* Classify and organize departmental documentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
* 2+ years’ experience in fragrance/ cosmetics industry.
* Excellent English and Spanish.
* Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills and record keeping.
* Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
