Position: Software Engineer
The role is full‑time, mid‑senior level, based in Spain (Ronda, Andalusia) with hybrid remote options.
Responsibilities
* Define software structure and ensure compliance with architectural vision and simplicity rules.
* Implement new requirements using test‑driven development methodology.
* Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to our system design on Azure.
* Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
* Work within a Scrum framework: planning, grooming, sprint reviews, user story and test case reviews.
* Analyze root causes of defects to provide comprehensive fixes.
* Champion quality for all delivered solutions.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers in a collaborative environment.
* Escalate and resolve high‑priority issues effectively.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* 3+ years as a Software Engineer with a significant focus on backend development.
* Strong experience in C#, .NET framework, SQL.
* Experience with microservices architecture.
* Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
* Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Strong analytical skills using debugging toolset; mentoring experience preferred.
* Knowledge of agile development, Scrum, and Test Driven Development.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with ASP.NET Web API, RESTful applications, JavaScript.
* Front‑end experience with accessibility programming.
* Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
