PbJob Description /b /ppbr/ppbPosition: /b Plant Controller /ppbr/ppbPosition Reports to: /b Director Finance – Global Operations /ppbr/ppbRegion: /b EMEA /ppbr/ppbLocation: /b Madrid, Spain (Plant) EMEA /ppbr/ppbPosition Overview: /b /ppThe bPlant Controller /b is part of the plant leadership team, providing financial guidance and taking charge of management and financial reporting, as well as business planning in line with company policies. /ppbr/ppThis role directs the plant team on financial matters and offers recommendations for improving site performance. /ppbr/ppbResponsibilities (not limited to): /b /ppbr/pulliManage manufacturing accounting, financial reporting, and variance analysis to accurately reflect plant performance. /liliSkilled in manufacturing ERP (MS Dynamics 365), maintaining data accuracy at every stage, and overseeing system upgrades. /liliAssist with year-end audits, both external and internal. /liliDevelop and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast in coordination with plant management and corporate finance. /liliCalculate standard cost per item during budget cycle and for new products during the year. /liliFixed Asset Register co-owner at the manufacturing site. /liliAnalyze inventory regularly and help minimize excess and obsolete stock. /liliPrepare business cases for capital expenditure. /liliFinance Business Partner supporting the Plant General Manager and Management with efficiency improvements, cost reductions, risk analysis, and interpreting financial results and KPIs. /liliCollaborate with regional management to lower working capital, especially by cutting inventory, bad stock, and obsolete items. /liliDeliver all month-end regional and corporate reports on time and accurately. /liliReview general ledger accounts and ensure all balances are cleared in a timely manner. /liliAdhere to all established corporate policies. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements: /b /pulliBachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. /lili5-7 years’ experience in a similar role. /liliLanguages: Fluent in English and Spanish. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliProficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools. /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills. /liliAbility to work independently and as a team member. /liliExperience with ERP systems and Business intelligence tools.
