In this position, you will be the bridge between business and science who defines and implements strategies addressed to market requirements for the product menu. You will be responsible of the product management of a dedicated product line and prepare a marketing support program for a specific product, product line, or product area. In this role, you will also coordinate its implementation with technical service, logistics, contracting services, distribution partners and sales organization. Key AccountabilitiesAct as key marketing technical liaison on all product lines, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service and customersProvide first level, remote and on-site technical, applications, operations and regulatory support to critical and key customer accounts, assisting them with the integration of systems in their laboratoriesPlan and implement strategies for a specific product, product line, or product area, including portfolio management Oversee and monitor the budget of the product line or product areaInterface with all levels of management to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peersContact with Suppliers regarding product issues, incidences and updates.Attend to meetings and Distributor meetings/courses.Maintain regular communications with technical services on problems with instruments and reagents within the product lineProvide detailed technical training for sales staff; works with field sales staff to develop training requirements and sales tools required to introduce new products and sales campaigns for all or part of product lineProvide presentations to customersPrepare and coordinate marketing support programsContribute to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials; writes technical bulletins and newslettersKeep informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to the company’s future marketing plansUnderstand all maintenance, performance, and advantages of Werfen productsUnderstand technical aspects of Werfen and competitive productsContinuously benchmark competitors in terms of pricing, promotions, and other relevant factorsMonitor field test and marketing introduction programsManage and drives internal projects with minimal supervisionEnsure compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics Minimum Knowledge amp; Experience required for the positionBachelor´s Degree in Medicine (MD), Microbiology, Pharmacology, Medical Technology or related clinical discipline, desired in infectious diseasesAdditional degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent preferredPhD is valuableExperience in ITS/HPV or infectious diseases is a mustMinimum three years’ experience in either hospital (or healthcare facilities), IVD, laboratory or pharmacyExperience related with clinical microbiology laboratoryExperience related with ER, ICU and primary care valuableAdditional Skills/KnowledgeLanguages: Spanish Advanced, English Advanced, any other language is a plus (for instance, Portuguese)Knowledge in Business Intelligence is a plus Skills amp; CapabilitiesBusiness acumen and results driven drive for ResultsAbility to work independently managing assigned projectsCustomer FocusExcellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skillsOrganizational AgilityAbility to build strong business relationships being an effective team-player Travel requirementsTravelling time up to 60% (Spain and Portugal)Other areas occasionally
