You can use super-efficient public transport; the metro is right across the street from our building. brRequirements: brProven experience architecting Azure platforms in production across multiple subscriptions and environments brExpert knowledge of the Azure hub‐and‐spoke model, including design and implementation at scale (addressing spokes, shared services, routing, egress/ingress, and segmentation) brHands‐on experience with landing zones and Azure governance (management groups, RBAC, PIM, policies, subscription design, and guardrails) brStrong grasp of Azure networking patterns (VNets, peering, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, route tables/UDRs, Azure Firewall/NVA, VPN Gateway, Express Route; awareness of Virtual WAN where appropriate) brSolid understanding of security and compliance on Azure (identity with Entra ID, least privilege, policy enforcement, Defender for Cloud; threat detection and logging considerations) brReliability and continuity design (availability zones, backup/restore, disaster recovery patterns, change management) brComfortable with infrastructure as code and automation principles for Azure (e.g., Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD for platform changes brAbility to run architecture workshops, produce clear diagrams and decision records, and guide platform and application teams through adoption brStrong communication skills in English (Spanish or dutch is a plus) brA background in software development is considered a strong plus, especially for enabling platform patterns and reviewing implementations.
