To elevate our digital presence and streamline our operations, we are looking for a technically inclined intern to support our web infrastructure, data management, and digital growth.
The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital & IT Intern to support the technical and operational aspects of our digital ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across disciplines—from ensuring data accuracy and website functionality to optimizing our content for search engines and managing social media workflows. You will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure our digital platforms run smoothly and effectively support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management
Maintain and update our CRM, event databases, and email marketing lists with accuracy and consistency.
Organize digital assets (images, videos, testimonials) from our events like the Gallery section and Guest Experiences.
Support the team with data clean-up, deduplication, and segmentation to improve marketing efficiency.
Web Development & Maintenance
Assist in updating and maintaining the website (rechargeabudhabi.com) using a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or similar).
Ensure website functionality across devices, including troubleshooting broken links, form submissions, and page load speeds.
Implement technical SEO improvements (metadata, structured data, site architecture) under the guidance of the marketing lead.
Support the creation of landing pages for upcoming events such as the Green Energy Conference and Creators Retreat.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Conduct keyword research to optimize existing content, including the Latest Insights articles and event pages.
Monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush, providing monthly reports.
Optimize on-page elements (titles, headings, alt text) to improve visibility for topics like “wellness events Abu Dhabi” and “tech summits UAE.”
Social Media Management Support
Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) using scheduling tools.
Assist in monitoring social media engagement and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
Track social media metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and compile reports to inform content strategy.
Support the creation of visual assets for social media in line with our brand identity (gallery moments, event promotions).
Who You Are:
Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Web Development, or a related field.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with HTML/CSS, CMS platforms (WordPress/Webflow), and basic understanding of web hosting environments.
Data-Organized: Strong attention to detail with experience in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO principles; experience with Google Analytics and Search Console is highly desirable.
Social Media Savvy: Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).
Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently and communicate effectively with the team.
Interest in the Brand: Curiosity about wellness, technology, culture, and sustainability—the pillars of our events and content.
