Experteer Overview
In this role you will partner with regional finance and business leaders to provide expert cost analysis and accounting support across the region, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and Flowserve policies. You’ll manage margin and production cost insights, support POC and PiT revenue recognition, and maintain robust internal controls. The position is centered in Pozuelo de Alarcón with regional collaboration to optimize cost allocation and reporting. This is an impactful role for shaping accurate financials and driving continuous improvements.

• Prepare and analyze reports on marginality and production costs by product/platform
• Compare presente costs to budget and explain variances
• Maintain internal controls and ensure proper documentation in cost accounting
• Post monthly journal entries for provisions, assets, and related items
• Support POC, inventory, and project-based cost allocations across sites
• Reconcile trial balances and financial statements for ledgers and auxiliaries
• Coordinate with BSC and other stakeholders to ensure neat, accurate financials
• Assist auditors and act as expert user in new systems
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with corporate calendar and statutory requirements
• Provide analytical information to support management decisions
• Support planning and forecasting processes with financial analysis
• Prepare documentation for tax compliance
• Travel to production plants as needed for complex issues
Responsabilidades
• 2+ years in cost accounting in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC606
• Experience with POC revenue recognition and project/cost accounting by sales orders or projects
• Experience with physical inventory analysis and material costing
• ERP experience (Oracle STAR, SAP R3, SAP S4 HANA/Fiori)
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot, VBA, complex formulas)
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Ability to work independently and in team, meet deadlines
