Job Purpose
Monitor and manage deferred fleet defects daily in AMOS, ensuring timely resolution planning, liaising with the Operational Control Centre on limitations and operational restrictions.
Main Accountabilities
- Monitor and manage deferred fleet items in AMOS, ensuring timely resolution.
- Report fleet limitations and restrictions to OCC, including pre-flight impacts.
- Handle technical consultations with manufacturers (Airbus, IAE, CFM, Goodrich, etc.).
- Process MEL and non-MEL extension requests under regulatory guidelines.
- Support MEL usage and troubleshooting processes.
- Support MOC Engineer in resolving AOGs, including component cannibalisation studies.
- Oversee fleet health by evaluating multiple system failures and managing deferments per regulations.
- Provide expert technical advice to pilots and technicians for defect resolution.
- Assist MROs and external stations with remote support on deferments and technical issues.
- Manage repetitive defects, coordinate solutions with the Reliability Department.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Ensure all deferred defects are addressed promptly, preventing flight schedule impacts.
- Keep OCC informed of operational limitations for safe and efficient flights.
- Resolve technical issues through expert consultation, maintaining fleet reliability and safety.
- Identify and address patterns in fleet defects for continuous reliability improvement.
- Support MEL usage and troubleshooting for quick issue resolution.
- Maintain operational status and safety by addressing system failures per regulations.
- Facilitate effective technical issue resolution, ensuring fleet airworthiness.
- Provide operational support to MROs and external stations per standards.
Main Relationships
Actively collaborate with all technical department teams, Operations Control Centre, Flight Ops department, and external MROs
Education
- Hold a University degree qualification in an aviation stream or hold an EASA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License on A320 family a/c
Experience
- Exposure to a Maintenance Operation Centre environment. xhfqzwm
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Heavy or Line Maintenance environment on company aircraft as an AME or equivalent/or having 3 years of experience within MCC/MOC functions.
Competencies
- Strong communication skills and ability to read, write & fluently speak both the Spanish & English languages with all levels within a team
- Demonstrate knowledge of PART 145/ PART M regulatory framework;
- Understanding of OEM data
- Understanding of a digital health monitoring Systems (e.G. Airman web, Skywise, Aviatar);
- Advanced knowledge of MS office environment;
- Knowledge of AMOS and AIMS
- Ability to work collaboratively and under stress environment
- Highly motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills;
- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Timetable flexibility and availability
