S/4HANA FI-CO Analyst (Temporary – 18 months)

Role Purpose:Support the Group Controlling and Global Accounting agendas by contributing hands‐on SAP FI and CO expertise to process standardization, documentation, global reporting design, and enablement in the context of the global S/4HANA transformation. The role works in close collaboration with Group Controlling Excellence and Global Accounting, under senior guidance, ensuring alignment between Controlling / Finance standards and S/4HANA implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

FI-CO Process Standardization & Documentation

Analyze, harmonize, and document global FI and CO processes (ECC and/or S/4 context)

Support alignment between Accounting and Controlling processes and responsibilities

Capture governance‐relevant best practices and design decisions

Finance Governance & Framework Support

Support development of global Finance and Controlling frameworks, guidelines, and principles

Translate governance requirements into S/4-ready FI-CO process and reporting designs

Global SAP FI-CO Reporting Design

Support the design of globally available SAP FI-CO / ERP reporting concepts

Define standard financial and management reporting structures (design only, not execution)

Align reporting concepts with both Controlling and Accounting stakeholders

S/4HANA Transformation, Enablement & Collaboration

Contribute to S/4HANA FI-CO design discussions from a business Finance perspective

Interact with local and regional Finance, Accounting, and Controlling teams to identify requirements

Support consolidation of local inputs into global standards under guidance

Support creation of training materials and contribute to training delivery

Support the SAP FI-CO team in the development of S/4HANA test concepts and test scripts, aligned with the global network of local test users

Key Requirements:

Experience

4–6 years of Finance / Controlling experience

Hands‐on SAP FI and CO experience (ECC or S/4HANA) – mandatory

Practical exposure to:- Financial Accounting (FI)- Controlling (CO), incl. CO‐PA (Margin Analysis); manufacturing controlling and product costing is a plus

Skills & Mindset

Solid understanding of FI-CO processes and integration points

Structured, documentation-oriented working style

Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders under senior guidance

Setup

Temporary role (18 months)

Preferred location: Madrid / Freiburg

Remote collaboration with global stakeholders
