Job Overview :
Drive the growth of the Solar Module sales business by identifying and capitalizing on Spain market opportunities. Conduct in-depth regional market analysis, focusing on supply/demand trends, government policies, competitors’ activities, and the performance of key distributors and installers. Build and nurture strong business relationships with potential partners including distributors, installers, and consultants, employing tailored strategies for each.
Establish quarterly and annual sales targets and ensure these are met through proactive sales initiatives. Support marketing efforts for regional campaigns such as exhibitions, presentations, and product launches. Prepare regular sales reports for management review, tracking progress against goals.
Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and input from across the organization to help shape the product strategy and roadmap in the PV module segment. Engage with key industry players in the assigned region to understand their needs, ensuring our product and service offerings align with their objectives.
Develop customized proposals to respond to customer tender requirements, optimizing both technical and commercial aspects. Identify new market segments and opportunities for expanding our product offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams (development, delivery) and external suppliers to align on product delivery and schedule expectations. Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality standards are met. Partner with field marketing and sales teams to oversee product launches and ensure successful rollouts.
Key Requirements :
1. Experience: 3-5 years in the solar module industry, with a background working with manufacturers or selling to developers and EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms).
2. Sales & Business Development: Proven ability to generate sales and develop new business opportunities.
3. Procurement & Customer Relations: Familiarity with customer procurement processes; able to craft responses that meet customer needs.
4. Decision Making: Strong ability to define product guidelines, make decisions, and see initiatives through to completion.
5. Financial Acumen: Experience interpreting financial reports, including budgets and product expenditures.
6. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Sales-driven with a proactive and competitive mindset.
7. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
8. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex situations and identify optimal solutions.
9. Self-Starter: Independent, self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
10. Organization & Planning: Excellent planning, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
11. Travel: Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
