Within the Medical Department, the Medical Project Manager (MPM) will contribute to implementing the medical strategy in collaboration with the Medical Director and Medical Managers. The MPM will be responsible for driving strategic country medical activities according to the Medical Plan and in alignment with local, regional, and global brand plans.
The MPM will play a pivotal role in four core areas within the Medical Department:
1. Managing and overseeing scientific and medical training for employees in Spain and Portugal, focusing on field teams to ensure impactful, scientifically robust interactions with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
2. Leading the integration and application of artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and foster innovation within the Medical Department.
3. Providing strategic support to the Medical Director by developing operational dashboards for monitoring projects and activities, enabling data-driven insights and new initiative development.
4. Overseeing medical information management to ensure accurate, compliant responses to inquiries.
This role requires close collaboration with various teams including Medical Directors, Managers, MSL Managers, Medical Advisors, MSLs, local Marketing-Commercial, PACE teams, and regional/global training teams.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Internal Medical Training: Lead the medical training plan for products in Spain and Portugal, coordinate scientific and medical training programs, and act as a bridge between local and global training teams.
2. Medical Project Optimization with AI: Lead AI platform implementation, ensure seamless integration, monitor success metrics, and train teams to leverage AI tools.
3. Medical Operations Intelligence: Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring and analysis, optimize operations, and propose data-driven initiatives.
4. Medical Information: Support standardized processes, collaborate on medical information resources, and analyze trends for continuous improvement.
Additional responsibilities involve collaborating on regional projects, supporting medical device projects, and representing Sobi at congresses and symposia.
Qualifications:
* Relevant university degree in medical or life sciences.
* Over three years of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably within rare diseases such as hematology, nephrology, or immunology.
* Experience with medical training activities, AI tools, operational dashboards, and medical information management.
* Proven ability to coordinate projects, work proactively, and build stakeholder networks.
* Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects within healthcare systems.
* Fluent in local language and English; Portuguese is a plus.
* Proactive, innovative, structured, and team-oriented approach.

Additional Information:
