We’re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Mission Analysis Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to
What you will be doing?
* Perform mission analysis tasks for small satellite missions (orbit selection, orbit propagation, coverage, access windows, ΔV requirements, station passes). Develop and maintain technical budgets (power, delta-V, pointing, etc).
* Support verification by analysis of mission-level requirements.
* Conduct thermal analysis (desirable, not required).
* Contribute to the development and evolution of internal mission analysis tools (Python-based).
* Use STK to perform mission analysis and generate key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Document results and contribute to technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
* Interface with Systems Engineering and other teams to ensure coherence across mission performance budgets.
* Support design iterations through analytical justification of key design decisions.
What do we need in our team
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in space missions, preferably with small satellites or CubeSats.
* Solid knowledge of orbital mechanics and mission analysis methods.
* Experience in technical budget development (power, ΔV, pointing, etc).
* Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
* Experience with STK for mission analysis.
* Experience in space radiation analysis.
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
