The Role:
We seek a Senior Digital Product Designer passionate about creating intuitive digital solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in the full design process with strategic thinking and leadership skills to guide initiatives from insight to execution.
As a Senior Digital Product Designer at Nespresso HQ, you will lead the development of visually refined, conversion-oriented experiences on Nespresso.com and other platforms. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to ensure designs meet brand standards, user needs, and business objectives.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate insights into engaging user experiences, demonstrating leadership and creative vision aligned with Nespresso's digital design principles.
Your responsibilities include conducting user research, designing functionalities, and iterating to optimize user experience.
In This Role, You Will:
* User-Centric and Data-Informed Design: Lead comprehensive digital design processes, integrating user insights and analytics to craft innovative solutions and understand user journeys.
* Visioning and Brand Champion: Transform concepts into disruptive designs that embody effortless luxury and support sales growth across 40+ markets.
* User Research and Design Solutions: Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points; develop wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to improve usability and accessibility.
* Collaboration and Cross-Platform Experience: Work with product teams to define requirements and ensure feasible, cohesive, and responsive designs for a consistent user experience.
* Usability Testing and Design System Advocacy: Organize user testing to refine designs and promote the use of the design system for consistency and collaboration.
* Stay Informed and Innovate: Keep abreast of design trends and technologies, recommending their adoption to foster innovation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum of 8 years in digital product design.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic impact, leadership, and complex design solutions, with expertise in aesthetics and functionality.
* Ability to advocate for design and influence product strategy aligning with business goals.
* Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
* Understanding of user-centered, responsive, and mobile-first design principles.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile environments.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
* Strong visual storytelling skills.
* Deep understanding of global design strategy.
* Experience in Food & Beverage or Luxury sectors is a plus.
* Knowledge of mobile design patterns, technical implementation, motion design, animation, video editing, and interest in generative AI tools.
