About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, within the F&B Department, the RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff performance, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, handling customer inquiries or complaints, and supporting the team in achieving service and sales goals. The RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR reports to the RESTAURANT MANAGER.

Requisitos
As RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in supervising daily operations.
* Ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and profitability are met.
* Supporting management in maximizing guest volume and satisfaction.
* Training, supervising, and scheduling restaurant staff, handling payroll and shift coverage.
* Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Implementing new menus, promotions, and service initiatives.
* Fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment and supporting staff development.
* Maintaining adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
* Inspecting equipment and tools regularly to ensure functionality and safety.
* Performing additional duties as requested by management.
Expectations
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining restaurant in a supervisory or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant, professional attitude.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs.
