Global Strategy and Innovation Director
The Global Strategy Director will work closely with the Global Business Lead and will be responsible for delivering integral media strategy, planning & marketing communications excellence, and guide local markets in the same direction.
The Strategy Director will work to ensure that we create exceptional work and foster strong relationships with clients, local markets, and partners.
Summary
The role will be key executive client meetings and reviews. Helping build client business, Identifying short term and long-term opportunities. Having the ability to translate business and marketing requirements into viable solutions, to interact with, and manage decision making.
Demonstrating a deep understanding of the client's business is key and making sure our solutions use brilliant insights to develop ideas that deliver tangible brand and business results. Collaborates with all teams in the agency and understands the strategic goals of the client and the company and contributes to achieve them.
Qualifications/Skill Requirements
- Typically, 5+ years relevant experience in a similar position. Marketing and media/digital experience. Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of media and communications, campaign planning process, strategy, implementation, and campaign´s follow up. Embrace latest digital technologies / POE
- Proven record of client management, strong communication and presentation skills. Strong aptitude for driving collaboration and integration, building "partner" relationships with clients, colleagues, and departments.
Role/ Responsabilities
- Global responsibility for raising overall Comms planning standards across all markets
- Responsibility for overall strategic direction globally and assure this is implemented locally
- Leadership of the strategics product / content campaigns across all markets
- Evolving and developing innovation within the media strategy, adapting to shifting consumer behaviour
- Development of innovation framework, and ensuring uptake within markets and centrally
- Key contact for clients and local agencies regarding strategy, partnerships, and areas of innovations
- Work together with global client marketing and media teams
- Ensure as best as possible that local plans reflect and deliver the global strategy
