GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of O&M Excellence, the O&M Governance & Processes Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining O&M processes, procedures, and operational standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment across assets, regions, and corporate functions.

The role will work cross-functionally with Operations, Asset Integrity, Asset Management, HSE and external contractors, contributing to operational excellence and the scalability of the company’s O&M model. The role will also support CMMS integration and driving best practices across the O&M organization.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical and process-structuring capabilities with experience in aligning procedures and digital maintenance tools and ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
OW has 2.5 gigawatts of projects in operation or awarded across 4 countries (Portugal, Scotland, France, Poland) and we are growing.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Act as the corporate focal point for O&M processes and procedures.
* Collect, review, and consolidate existing O&M procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation across assets and functions.
* Develop and maintain procedures, workflows, templates, and corporate standards.
* Play an active role in the implementation and integration of the selected CMMS, translating operational and maintenance processes into standardized system workflows. Develop guidelines, procedures, and business rules to ensure consistent and efficient CMMS utilization across the fleet.
* Ensure alignment between procedures and digital maintenance tools.
* Coordinate with sites operational and O&M Corporate teams and subject matter experts to validate and continuously improve procedures.
* Participate in operational readiness reviews, process workshops, and lessons learned sessions.
* Interface with OEMs, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
* Support the maintenance of a centralized O&M procedures library within corporate DMS tool.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) is preferred.
* Experience developing operational and maintenance procedures.
* Qualifications in process management, reliability, or maintenance management will be valuable.
* 5+ years of experience in industrial O&M, renewable energy, or offshore operations.
* Hands-on experience working with CMMS/EAM systems.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is required:
* Process mapping and procedure development.
* Maintenance and operational workflows.
* CMMS/EAM systems knowledge.
* Technical writing and document management skills.
* Knowledge of maintenance and reliability methodologies.
* Understanding of HSE and offshore operational standards.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions.
* High level of autonomy and accountability.
* Comfortable working in international environments.
* Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applications in O&M is a plus.
LANGUAGES
