Job Overview:
As a Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Commercial Director or delegate, and adhering to hotel and IHG policies, you will handle group bookings and provide exceptional customer service.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Support MICE sales processes, including requests for proposals, follow-up, negotiation, and contracting.
* Assist in soliciting and completing group transactions.
* Organize and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEO), Group Fact Sheets (GFS).
* Conduct events, site inspections, and external presentations.
* Negotiate rates and services within guidelines.
* Review and draft sales contracts and agreements.
* Follow up with clients during and after events to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
* Establish relationships with local DMCs and international PCOs.
* Work with the events team to manage logistics.
* Build and maintain relationships with guests and clients to ensure satisfaction.
* Promote the hotel and brand within the community.
