We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead based in Spain or Portugal to drive growth for our client Archcorp, a multidisciplinary design firm. You will focus on the UAE/Gulf region while exploring opportunities in the Iberian market, leveraging our expertise in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Growth Strategies: Identify and pursue high-value projects in the UAE/Gulf and Iberia, aligning with sustainability trends and market demands.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong ties with clients, stakeholders, developers, government entities, and industry partners across regions.
- Manage Bids & Proposals: Oversee the full tender process, crafting compelling proposals that highlight our design innovation and compliance with local and EU standards.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with technical, business, and marketing teams across geographies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to capture strategic opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years in business development, contract management, or proposal roles in AEC, ideally with international experience.
- Proven track record in UAE/Gulf markets (preferred) or similar high-growth regions.
- Strong strategic, negotiation, and communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
- Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Office, and proposal management tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently across UAE, Spain, Portugal, and Europe.
