Overview
A global animal health and nutrition business is expanding its commercial presence across Western Europe with upcoming product launches across medicated feed additives, nutritional solutions, and veterinary products.
As part of this growth, the business is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to lead poultry-focused commercial activities across Spain and Portugal.
The Role
This is a customer-facing, commercially driven position, acting as the key point of contact for customers across Iberia. The role combines technical support with strategic account management, focused on driving sustainable growth across key accounts, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Drive demand generation and commercial growth across the assigned territory
Support delivery of sales targets and margin objectives
Provide technical guidance to customers, influencers, and end users
Work closely with distributors to support sales, training, and product positioning
Build and manage relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, feeding insights into the wider business
Attend industry events and engage with Key Opinion Leaders
Manage forecasting and customer planning to support supply and service levels
Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
Collaborate with European and global teams
Profile
Background in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Animal Nutrition
Significant experience in animal health/nutrition with a strong poultry focus
Established network within the Iberian poultry market (Spain & xpzdshu Portugal)
Strong commercial acumen with a technical understanding of poultry production
Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating across international teams
Fluent Spanish and working level English
Based in Iberia
