**Job Details**For our Fire Fire Detection Products Team, we are looking for:**Business Development Representative****What you will do**The Business Development Representative is a key role reporting directly to the EMEA BDM Leader. You will be based in Madrid and work closely with all the local and international Fire Detection Sales Managers helping them to achieve their business objectives creating demand from the specification stage of relevant projects.The main goal of this role is to identify and develop solutions to define vertical markets, new opportunities, developing strategic sales with a highly visible, prestigious customers such as end users, consultants, contractors, A&E;,... To achieve it you will be responsible to develop long term relationships with customer to promote the sales of Fire Detection products in any market.Part of your daily activity will be related with expand the brand awareness alongside the territory. Hence, will prepare and deliver high-quality technical seminars/presentations, product demonstrations to consultants, developers, end user and recommend viable solutions for their project requirements. Therefore, a strong technical background is required.As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives.**How you will do it**As a Business Development Representative, you will use in-depth technical knowledge of Fire Detection products and facilitate sales team, consultants, developer and end users on design and specification.You will liaise with R&D;, Training, Product Management and Technical Support resources to ensure that proposals and feature requests include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, in line with Johnson Controls, Inc. product strategies.A part of your job is to attend to technical committees, trade shows, conduct technical training and seminars for consultants to enhance their knowledge of our product portfolio and how it can be utilized to generating new sales leads.You will develop necessary design, technical and marketing tools to support clients on existing and new products.In order to improve forecast accuracy you will maintain record of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases.You are a hunter driven to seek and develop strong customer relationships, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of working independently to drive your territory growth. You’re naturally perseverant, tenacious and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills.**What we look for**- Technical or business bachelor’s degree.- Technical or sales or business development experience with fire detection products. At least four (5) years.- Experience with fire detection systems design according EN54-14 is a must. According NFPA 72 is a plus.- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills, with well-developed communication skills, able to influence at all levels.- High level prospecting skills.- Good Spanish and English.- Flexible in travelling- Unquestionable integrity and ethics.- Provider of out of the box solutions, with a can-do attitude is required and very result driven mentality.**What we offerJohnson Control offers an interesting compensation package according to your qualification and experience.
