Line Manager's Job Title : Plant General Manager
Job Purpose
The HR Manager plans, organises and directs the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs regarding recruitment, compensation and benefits, engagement, culture, training and development, health and safety, labour relations and employee relations necessary to carry out company and plant objectives.
The HR Manager implements, monitors the implementation of legal and regulatory obligations relating to its areas of activity and ensures full compliance with all laws and nationwide agreements. The HR Manager provides guidance to Plant Manager, Senior Management Team, functional managers and supervisors in the interpretation and application of established human resources policies to create a climate of trust and open communication.
The site is under organizational transformation with an operational excellence strategy and a cultural change. To deliver such changes, there is a change program in place with proper tools. The HR Manager is a key player in this transformation.
The HR Manager is also in charge of office management (reception, contracts, and administrative supplies).

Principal Accountabilities
* Manage complete human resources administration, processes and policies and provide professional HR practices for AF Alzira including contract, transfer, promotion, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
* Lead and implement an Engagement Plan, including development, training, communication, and Employee Value Proposition.
* Facilitate necessary organizational and cultural change and the development of the plant organization, ensuring clear, timely communication, clarity of roles and responsibilities.
* Supervise and engage in administration of the employee benefits program to include health and welfare, insurance, and pension programs.
* Monitor payroll administration in compliance with Amcor compensation and auditing processes and control social statements.
* Analyze monthly and annual payroll against the budget in collaboration with the finance controller.
* Prepare annual HR budgets in collaboration with the finance controller and the plant general manager of the site.
* Participate in the payroll software revision with site needs and legislation evolution.
* Ensure that AF Alzira acts in alignment with applicable labour and social laws and proactively update local employment regulations.
* Manage regulatory changes in labour law and follow process implementations.
* Advise employees regarding inquiries related to payroll, benefits, policies, procedures, and programs.
* Deal with disputes.
* Prepare, participate, and facilitate monthly mandatory meetings with Works council, staff representatives, and participate in quarterly OSHE meetings.
* Negotiate with Union Representatives about plant agreements - writing and monitoring of agreements.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with plant management and support change initiatives across departments.
* Support plant management and people managers with their HR agenda.
* Control manpower with capacity demands by managing flexible time models – workforce planning approach.
* Actively manage recruitment and selection processes for AF Alzira, aligned with AFEMEA policies and tools.
* Identify development actions and define annual training plans.
* Ensure compliance with Amcor's policies and procedures.
* Infuse culture change and change management.
* Drive talent management initiatives.
* Monitor regulatory changes in labour law and oversee process implementation.
* Function as a key business partner and member of the plant leadership team.

Qualifications / Requirements
* University degree, preferably in HR Management
* Minimum of 5+ years of HR management experience in Spain
* Experience in manufacturing environment and change management
* Knowledge of compensation, benefits, and employment law
* Fluency in English and Spanish
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster cross-cultural relations
