**POSITION OVERVIEW**
ICFO’s Academic Affairs team is responsible for overseeing the training of graduate students and postdocs, including management of the PhD in Photonics program, ICFO’s involvement in several master’s programs, and our engagement with academic partners locally and internationally.
To fulfil our mission, we regularly coordinate and participate in Projects aimed at enhancing the training of graduate students and researchers, along with local and international partners.
We are looking for a proactive, motivated and independent individual to join ICFO’s Academic Affairs team to coordinate and manage our involvement in several ongoing European Projects relating to education in quantum science & technology.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of projects and work-packages relating to training activities in Projects
- Liaise with the corresponding ICFO units for establishing procedures, ensure efficient communication and proper exchange of information.
- Develop and maintain document procedures and information on the area.
- Planning and distribution of tasks in the area, and coordination with stakeholders within ICFO and external partners
- Attend regular meetings with internal units as well as external stakeholders and coordinate actions in the scope.
- Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner
- Preparation of reporting on project milestones and deliverables

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- A University degree.
- Be fluent in English, Catalan and Spanish.
- Two or more years of experience in project management relating to education and/or training projects, particularly management of European projects.
- Have an eye for detail, responsibility, and an eager-to-learn attitude.
- Show demonstrated ability to perform tasks both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Have a strong desire for personal growth, professional development and success.
- Work versátil hours to meet the needs of the different events and activities.
**CONDITIONS**
This is a full-time fixed-term position linked to the duration of the project, which is estimated to end in October 2026.
A competitive salary within ICFO’s salary scales will be offered, commensurate with the seniority of the applicant.
