Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional for a role in ultra-luxury accommodations with presence in different regions and destinations. The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-opening hotels or accommodations, be willing to create and develop new ways of working, and lead a team.
Reporting to: CFO and CEO/COO
Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment.
2. Have ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the hotels and restaurants.
3. Manage the finance relationship with operations and finance teams at hotel and head office levels, ensuring excellent service through quality input.
4. Provide focused, innovative, and value-adding management reporting and analysis.
5. Deliver high-quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant.
6. Ensure reporting incorporates benchmarking, key performance indicators, and use of a balanced scorecard.
7. Optimize and develop systems to improve efficiency and information flow.
8. Ensure training for users and challenge processes to eliminate non-value-adding tasks.
9. Work with colleagues to correct errors at source and amend processes to prevent errors.
10. Lead the planning and forecasting process for London, ensuring financial plans align with strategic objectives.
11. Support general managers and the finance team in hotel strategic planning, focusing on value opportunities.
12. Manage the formulation, review, and approval of budgets within hotels and restaurants.
13. Lead, develop, and inspire a high-quality finance team, planning for succession and continuous training.
Additional requirements include being able to work based in Menorca and travel, creating new processes, and helping the company grow.
