We are looking for an Event Manager to handle the delivery of broadcast services to high-profile customers in the sports industry. Based on-site, the Event Manager will work to deliver Deltatre's value proposition, including data management and broadcast graphics operations.
The role involves coordinating a team of part-time operators, managing day-to-day operations, and customer relationships. It also includes shared on-site responsibilities with the Technology and IT & Broadcast teams, involving testing and operating Deltatre hardware and software.
Fluent Spanish and English are required for success in this role.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of event delivery, sometimes across multiple projects.
* Support project lifecycle from discovery to launch under the guidance of the Project Manager.
* Collaborate with the PM and Technology Team Manager to maintain project backlogs based on client needs.
* Assist in requirements gathering and managing client relationships.
* Provide live support during key operations involving data and TV graphics deliveries.
* Supervise on-site operations during live events.
* Schedule staff and on-call personnel in coordination with the Project Manager and Operations Lead.
* Liaise with IT & Broadcast teams for hardware allocation.
* Maintain and update project operations documentation and processes.
* Ensure operations have effective checklists to minimize risks.
* Deliver successful on-site operations and report to clients and management.
* Respect project budgets and capacity constraints.
* Coordinate with third-party suppliers.
* Manage debriefs and reporting, addressing live operational issues promptly.
* Share knowledge and feedback with operators.
* Identify and communicate commercial and development opportunities internally.
* Assist in recruitment and training of staff.
* Organize travel and logistics related to projects.
* Support operational improvements through requirements collection.
Requirements
* Passion for sports and understanding of live broadcast and production environments.
* Strong knowledge of Football.
* Extensive client-facing experience in event roles.
* Experience in TV broadcast sector.
* Experience managing project technologies and personnel.
* Knowledge of VizRT graphics platform.
* Understanding of software development and QA processes is desirable.
* Availability for shift work, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
