Your Role:
As a WEB Developer at DEKRA, you will be part of a dynamic development team collaborating on international projects. You will contribute to the design and implementation of in-house software solutions such as Radio Regulatory DB, Automotive Components DB, and the Radio Regulatory Newsletter, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend solutions for internal business applications.
* Collaborate with international stakeholders to implement innovative features and services.
* Integrate backend APIs and ensure system scalability and performance.
* Support cross-functional initiatives with the Research (ITA) team.
* Share knowledge and support junior team members when needed.
Qualifications and Required Competencies:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* More than 5 years working in development teams in similar roles.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming with Java.
* Strong experience with Spring Framework (Security, MVC, Spring Boot, Cloud, etc.).
* Integration with RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Valuable Experience and Knowledge:
* Working with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
* Exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Qlik).
* Interest in mentoring and leadership within teams.
