Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.
This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will do
1. Design software algorithms for ECM/hEVC systems based on project needs.
2. Create software specifications aligned with internal standards and architectures.
3. Develop functional and dysfunctional validation plans.
4. Perform MIL (Model-in-Loop) validation, deliver test cases and reports.
5. Provide documentation and pre-calibration datasets for tuning teams.
6. Prepare technical reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
7. Conduct activities related to SW conception, validation, and problem analysis.
What we're looking for
8. A proven track record in embedded software design and model-based development (Matlab-Simulink).
9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Automatics, Computers, Electronics preferred).
10. Excellent skills in validation methods for embedded SW and technical reporting.
11. Strong competencies in problem-solving and collaboration, with a multicultural approach.
12. Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
13. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
